Paynote

Request clearly.
Pay directly.

Paynote builds native HYPE payment links for Kinetiq Elysium. There is no Paynote payment contract or deposit account.

What is in a request

A request contains the recipient, amount in HYPE, Elysium chain ID 99901, request ID, creation block and optional note. All data is stored in the URL. The receiving wallet is checked for contract code before the link is created. Requests do not expire automatically and their details are public to anyone with the link. Links can be edited, so verify every amount and address.

Amounts and recipients

Amounts use exact 18-decimal integer conversion. This is HYPE, not a dollar-priced invoice. Paynote accepts positive amounts and plain externally owned recipient addresses only. Contract wallets, smart accounts and exchange deposit instructions are unsupported. An address with no code is not proof that you know or trust its controller.

Payment flow

The payer connects an EVM wallet and switches to Elysium 99901. Paynote rechecks network freshness, the recipient's code and the selected request. It then asks the wallet to send the exact HYPE value with empty calldata. Gas is additional and is estimated by the wallet. Private keys never enter Paynote.

Transactions use the wallet's configured transport. Public relays may delay or reject sends. A transaction hash means submitted, not paid. Paynote records a returned hash in local browser storage and checks its receipt before allowing another payment from that browser.

What a matching receipt proves

Verification requires a successful receipt, chain ID 99901, the requested recipient and exact amount, empty transaction data, and a block no earlier than the request. For payments submitted by Paynote, the expected payer is also checked. An externally supplied hash is checked without claiming to know the intended sender.

The result is a matching transfer, not a global invoice settlement guarantee. The request ID is not included in the plain native transfer. Two requests for the same amount and recipient can match the same transfer. Paynote has no shared database, no authenticated invoice issuer and no automatic reuse detection across browsers. Do not use it as accounting software or an escrow.

Fees and reversibility

Paynote charges no service fee. Network gas is paid in HYPE. Confirmed native transfers cannot be reversed through Paynote. Inspect the full address before sending. HYPE on Elysium and HYPE on HyperEVM are balances on different networks.

Validation

Local integration tests cover exact amounts, request encoding, direct transfers and mismatched receipts. The Elysium RPC read path is checked independently. No real public-network payment is implied by a local test.
